In my previous article, Top Green Gadgets Tips-1, I have share about five green gadgets tips, such as buy used gadgets, buy recycled and recyclable electronic gadgets, and many more.

And in this article I want to share five other top green gadgets tips on how you can still use all variety of electronic gadgets but still keep the balance of our environment.

Make full use of a gadget’s features.

This method is very helpful, not only extend the usefulness of a gadgets but it also make it fully worth the money you pay out for it and reducing the number of electronic gadgets you want in your life. Moreover, it also will reduce on how many gadgets you must charge up continually. For example, if you making full use of your cell phone, you will no longer need five other electronic gadgets. You can use your cell phone as alarm clocks, PDAs, cameras, music players, and calculators.

Charge your gadgets with renewable energy.

Don’t worry; you no need to invest in wind turbine in your yard or solar panels on your house. There are personal charging devices that use wind or solar to power your electronic gadgets. I think this may be the most fun tip for true gadget lovers, you can get to green your electronic gadgets with more gadgets. After that, try using gadgets such as smart power strips that cut the power supply to gadgets that no longer need it.

Use old gadgets as money makers.

This tip will make you get some money. Actually, buyback programs are not only for new gadgets, but they are also a perfect place for getting rid of your old items when you decided to upgrade to newer versions. You can refurbish or resell your old items. This guide will make a little green in your pocket and in your heart.

Offset your gadgets’ carbon footprint.

It’s likely your electronic gadgets will still make a carbon footprint even when you implement all the tips above. But don’t worry; you can offset this by purchasing carbon offsets online. Your money goes directly towards programs that reduce carbon emissions. Nowadays, many manufacturers make is super easy by giving users to purchase carbon offsets when they purchase their new gadgets.
