Toshiba Satellite T115 Review

Toshiba Satellite T115 laptop is the 11.6’ version of the 13.3’ Toshiba T135. You can get one of this laptop with price about $449. But when you pay more $30 ($479) you will get an Intel SU2700 processor, 2GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, Intel GMA 4500M graphics, and Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit). And as other netbook, Toshiba Satellite T115 does not have an optical drive.

Actually Toshiba Satellite T135 and T115 is extremely similar. The main difference of these two computer just the size – T115 has a 131.6’ display where the T135 is 13.3’, but they both run at same resolution – 1366×768. They use same battery – 5600mAh 6 cell battery and the life of the battery should be about the same, despite they have different size of display. The T115 comes standard with 2 GB of memory instead of 3 GB and the T115 starts at 3.49 pounds instead of 3.89. Toshiba Satellite T115 does not have an option for the bottom-of-the-barrel processor but it has option to the get the better SU4100 as well.

Overall Toshiba Satellite T115 is a good laptop computer and a viable netbook alternative but T115 is not the best in this class. User maybe will get better and more powerful at HP Mini 311 or Aspire 1410. This netbook is good but not good enough in this class.
